"I joined EY in Boston in 1995 after completing a graduate degree in tax in the US. I have worked in our Boston, Chicago and New York offices and also spent time in London as a US Tax Desk in 2003-2005. I’m now leading the UK International Tax Services practice at a very exciting time for the industry."
Craig joined EY in 1995 after previously working as a Lawyer in New Zealand and doing graduate tax studies in the US. After many years working on both sides of the Atlantic, he now heads up our UK International Tax Practice.
"The OECD BEPS initiative is completely changing the long standing approach to international taxation. There is more focus than ever on transfer pricing and substance, more demand for transparency in reporting, and more global tax controversy and challenge to multinational tax planning.
At EY, we are responding to the constantly changing environment by building a strong international tax practice that is more focused on day to day client advice and interaction. Our strength is our global connectivity, which not only allows us to interact more quickly with international colleagues, but also provides varied learning opportunities for our people – including international secondments.
We’re broadening our international tax professionals to become well-rounded with transfer pricing skills and experience with financial statement reporting, compliance and controversy – in addition to traditional focus areas of cross border financing and mergers and acquisitions. If you’re curious, creative and have the appetite to seek out interesting projects, you’ll benefit from being in a strong team at the forefront of international tax, in a collaborative working environment."
