I joined EY in February 2015 and have experienced a number of great opportunities since I have joined. So far, I have had exposure of working in the Tax and People Advisory Services practice and also progressed from a Resource Deployment Consultant to a Resource Deployment Assistant Manager
I chose to work for EY because of the firm’s recognition as one of the best places to work across the globe. Coming from various HR related roles, I wanted to continue to work with people and play a key role in helping and developing individuals to fulfil their career ambitions and Resourcing ticks all those boxes.
Working in Resourcing is very rewarding and offers a lot of work variety, you get to work closely with the client-facing team on various responsibilities such as staffing client projects, helping our people build their portfolio of work, and reporting on business performance to the business leaders.
EY gives you the tools, support and know-how to develop in the direction that most interests you. We are actively encouraged to have open and honest discussions about your career growth. For example, I am on the EY Career Watch programme which is an award-winning sponsorship programme aimed at providing high potential women and ethnic minorities with access to career growth opportunities which can accelerate their career.
Our role in Resourcing is to come up with solutions to support our client-facing team in delivering great results. Remaining positive and collaborating with others to come up with solutions means not only will you go far, but others will enjoy working with you too!
