What’s it like?
Being recognised as an ‘expert’ by EY colleagues was a career highlight for Jo. See how her grad programme has put her on track to achieve her ambition of becoming a manager.
How’s it structured?
From day one you will play an integral role within Business Risk Services engagements, working directly with clients often at their offices, getting to know how they work. You may be part of a co-sourced internal audit team of a major global organisation working on a number of internal audits across various geographies or working on controls projects across various sectors, helping clients to gain confidence over their control environment.
Working on a variety of UK and multi-territory audit engagements, you'll begin to lead and coach others by your second year, while developing your client relationship skills – in some cases, already owning client relationships as well as building up your exceptional project management and teaming skills. You will also have exposure to working with EY personnel and clients around the world.
We’re looking ahead and we believe the work and training you do in your first few years lays the groundwork for a fast-moving, high-potential career with us. During this time we will help you develop your technical and personal competencies to achieve to the best of your ability. Our culture of coaching will guide you through lots of learning curves and makes being Senior Consultant by year three very achievable.
