Our job is to understand what technological challenges our clients are facing, and then find the best solutions to help them improve how they work. It’s about being tech-savvy and great with people.

Paid work experience
How’s it structured?
First things first – you’ll have an induction. Then you’ll join your team in either UK & Ireland or Financial Services and start working with your new colleagues on real client projects. At this point, you can stop thinking of yourself as an intern and start thinking of yourself as a consultant. You could be helping major banks transform entire data management systems, or advising FinTech start-ups on their next best move. Don’t forget that your colleagues can help and teach you, too, so ask lots of questions. If you do a great job, you could be offered a place on a graduate programme, when you finish uni.
Where could a consulting career take you?
How did Juliet go from a graduate programme to managing all of our service lines to deliver for one of our major clients? In one or two steps.
What about the extras?
Regular mentoring and coaching, on-the-job training, a competitive salary, flexible working and a generous pension plan are just some of the perks that come with being a summer intern at EY.
Where do you want to be?
We currently offer the Technology Consulting summer internship in London.
This programme has now closed for applications.
